DDTEXT
This program is by us in daily use for the placement of drawing text. The textheight is automatically set correctly, according to the plotscale, once you have entered this plotscale at the start of a new drawing. This is done by our program DDSETUP, but is also available as a seperate command, SETSCALE.
With the popup-list TEXT TYPE, you can choose from different text options.
These are:
- Standard text
- Leader Arrow, text with an arrow. The arrow creates automatically angles of 90 or 45 degrees and can have asmuch segments as you need. The text is always placed in the direction of the last segment.
- Leader Dot, is the same as leader arrow, but instead of an arrow, a dot is drawn at the startpoint.
- Boxed text, a filleted rectangle is drawn around the text.
- Notes, select much used textstrings from a list
- Annotation, creates a textstring with the date, time and drawingname.
- Area tekst, calculates the area of a polylijn, and places the result inside it in the form "0.0m2"
- Read from file, select a textfile and the contents will be placed in your drawing, left, centered or right aligned.
- Autonumber, creates an array of text, for example 1 2 3 4..10 or A B C D...Z. You will asked for the distance between the characters, for the lowest and highest characters and the incrementation.
