This program intends to be a better replacement for the DDLMODE command. Although this command is changed in the later releases of Autocad, we still don't think that it is easy to use. So we created this program, but ofcourse we changed not only the layout, but also added new functionality.
At creating a new layer, you can choose the layername from a list. The program creates the layer with the correct linetype and color. Of course, this list can be edited to your needs. An extra edit-field provides you with the ability to create a new layer, not present in this list. Choosing the layers from a list not only makes it easier, to maintain a certain consistincy in your drawings, but is also less work. The second improvement is that all linetypes can be chosen, even if they are not loaded in your drawing, they will be loaded automatically at creating the layers.
